Details: Player Performance Centre Girls Residential Under 9/10's (School Year 4-5) Tuesday 27th May - Friday 30th May (3 Night / 4 Days) Box hill School, London Rd, Mickleham, Dorking, RH5 6EA OVERVIEW Our Residential programme is a girls residential for current Performance players between the ages of 8-14 from all of our centres/locations across all regions . They will train at our Residential venue Box Hill School in Dorking whereby it provides them with the opportunity to train like a professional footballer for the week. They will participate in a training schedule designed to develop their overall technique and skill within the game. All players will get to visit and train at our Cobham Training Ground which is located around the corner from our Residential venue. Players will travel by coaches to and from both venues which will be provided and arranged by Chelsea FC. TRAVEL We will be asking parents to drop their daughter off directly at the venue on the morning of the first day, all further details about timings will be shared nearer the time of the Residential. ACCOMMADATION All players will stay onsite having their own boarding house allocated to them according to their specific age group. The rooms are multiple rooms with no players permitted to sleep in a single bedroom alone. They will however get the opportunity to choose players/friends from their centres if they wish to stay with someone they know. There will be allocated times where all players will be allowed their phones/tablets to call home, this will usually take place in their down time before dinner. However all phones and devices will be collected and stored securely during the night. During this down time players will be allowed to play on the pool tables and table tennis tables provided in their houses, some also have PlayStation/X box but to confirm this will only be allowed to be used during “Down Time” as during the day they will be training and then after dinner they will have an evening activity such as indoor futsal before light’s out and bed. Understandably with younger players if they ever wanted to reach out to their family at any other point of course that’s not a problem. FOOD All food including breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided during their stay with the venue catering for any dietary requirements for any players. Players are welcome to bring with them any healthy snacks they wish to have across the Residential however, we must highlight our strict No Nut Policy. FACILITY Box Hill School offers fantastic grass pitches where all sessions will take place, there is also a brand new indoor sports hall which will be used for any evening activities such as futsal and also multi sports sessions. There is also a gym on site, which will be available for the older players under the supervision of one of our lead gym coaches. SAFEGUARDING We operate a strict anti-bullying policy and do not tolerate bullying in any form. If players are found bullying, they will be cautioned once and could potentially risk be being dismissed from the course. Players are expected to be polite and courteous to staff and peers at all times. Discipline and supervision are a priority and our aim is to ensure that all players have an enjoyable and enriching experience. Alcohol, cigarettes, or illegal substances are strictly prohibited, and any player found to be in possession of any such items will be dismissed from the course immediately. If a player is dismissed from the course refunds will not be given. The welfare of players is paramount, and all our staff are Enhanced DBS checked, FA Coaching Qualified and hold valid Emergency Aid and Safeguarding Children certificates.
